毎月第１日曜日に開催される『四天王寺わつか市』
梅田ミツバチプロジェクトの養蜂場が境内にあるご縁から、
そこで採れたハチミツを展開し活動のPRの場として出店させていただいております。
The “Shitennoji Watsuka Market” held every first Sunday of the month.
Thanks to the connection with Umeda Bee Project’s apiary located within the temple grounds, we have the opportunity to set up a booth there and showcase the honey harvested from the beekeeping site as part of our activity promotion.
ミツバチたちは半径２～３km圏内の蜜源植物を訪花し、花蜜や花粉を集めてくるといわれています。四天王寺養蜂場からその圏内には、お寺さんの庭園にある庭木や花々、植物園もあり、なかなか豊かな自然環境です。
もしかしたら、市でお買い物中にミツバチとすれ違っているかも…しれませんね。
小さいけど、せっせと働くたくましいミツバチたち。
わつか市で大人気の『ハニーレモンケーキ』にはそのモチーフがちょこんとのっています。

Honeybees are known to visit nectar-producing plants within a radius of 2 to 3 kilometers, gathering nectar and pollen. The area around the Shitennoji Beekeeping Site includes temple gardens, various flowers, and a botanical garden, making it a rich natural environment.
Perhaps, while shopping in the city, you might cross paths with some bees…
Though small, the diligent and resilient honeybees work tirelessly. They even serve as inspiration for the popular “Honey Lemon Cake” at the Watsuka Market.

受粉活動に大活躍のミツバチたちが住む街は花や緑が元気になります。
花や緑が元気に実を結ぶと、それをついばむ鳥も元気になります。
野菜や果実が元気に育つと、わたしたち人も喜びます。
色んな事情から、ミツバチが住む環境が厳しくなっている、といわれる昨今。
いなくなってしまうと私たちはどうなるでしょう…
そんな小ばなしを、わつか市の店頭でお話しています。
ミツバチやハチミツのお話は尽きません！

In recent times, there are various circumstances leading to a challenging environment for the honeybees, and there are concerns about their decline. What will happen to us if they disappear…
