On September 14th, the Umeda Bee Project conducted a long-awaited Bee School session on a field trip.
The location was Urigaoka Nishi Elementary School, targeting fifth-grade students.
This school is highly enthusiastic about environmental education, engaging in activities such as creating biotopes, digging wells, and raising various animals.
During this session, alongside classroom lectures monitored by experts, there were hands-on experiences with beekeeping equipment and a class observing live bees placed in observation hives.
We were supported by the GUERLAIN team, which facilitated a smooth and productive session.
The Bee Project not only hosts workshops at the Yanmar Building but also welcomes such field trips. Schools, welfare facilities, companies, and anyone interested, please feel free to reach out for more information.
