Umeda Bee Project is recruiting beekeeping trainees to expand the field of beekeeping.
The training program consists of 12 sessions from April to December. This time, with the support of GUERLAIN, a member of the LVMH group, we are exclusively recruiting 6 female trainees or individuals who identify as female. The regular annual fee is ¥130,000 (including teaching materials, protective clothing, hive tools, and training expenses), but this time GUERLAIN will cover half of the cost, allowing participation at a special rate of ¥65,000. The proceeds from this training will be fully utilized for activities such as food education, environmental education, and greening initiatives. GUERLAIN has been dedicated to biodiversity conservation, bee protection, and the development of female beekeepers for over 14 years. Now, they are collaborating with the Umeda Bee Project for the first time in Japan to support a program aimed at fostering female beekeepers. You can learn more about GUERLAIN’s social activities here:
