ジャパニーズBee（ニホンミツバチ）のレスキュー依頼があり、南森町のカフェ「ととのう」さん
の軒先のミツバチのレスキューを行いました。
駆除されないように張り紙も作っておられ、環境保護の意識が高い素晴らしいオーナー様でした。

ニホンミツバチの分蜂にしては少し遅い季節ですが
しっかりとした蜂球を作っており、日暮れになってから手で少しずつ保護しました。
一晩車中泊して、翌朝に服部緑地に移動。新しい巣箱に移して様子を見ます。

We received a rescue request for Japanese Bees (Apis cerana japonica) and conducted a rescue operation for the bees located at the storefront of the cafe “Totonou” in Minamimorimachi.
The owner of the cafe was wonderful, showing a high awareness of environmental protection by not resorting to extermination and even making a sign to prevent harm to the bees.

It is a slightly late season for Japanese Bee swarming, but they had formed a strong cluster, so we carefully protected them by hand as dusk fell.
We spent the night in the car and moved them to Hattori Ryokuchi Park the next morning. We transferred them to a new hive and will observe their behavior.
Whether they will settle in and adapt remains to be seen, and that is something we look forward to.
