I received a notification from Osaka City Bus that there was a cluster of bees on the ceiling of the waiting area at Osaka Station Bus Terminal (bound for Tempozan). They asked if someone could help. So, we quickly organized a rescue operation.
Surprisingly, they were Japanese honeybees. We waited until nightfall and gently scooped them up by hand, placing them in a box. They spent the night in the car. The next morning, we transported them to Hattori Ryokuchi, where we prepared a hive frame for them.
Now, the question remains: Will they successfully establish a colony? To be continued.
